• In 2014, at the age of 22, Michelle Morfett started selling mini cakes at the Hobsonville
Farmers Market in Auckland. This is where Mint Cakery began. Late nights baking and
early morning farmers markets evolved into a small brick-and-mortar store in Point
Chevalier in 2016.
